About the Gardenia Sleeveless Knit

This is a simple to wear, sleeveless knit created with straight needles.
You can learn basic knitting techniques for apparel while completing an entire garment. A key feature is the design, which has a different length in the front and back.

We also recommend layering it with the "Annabelle Bustier" designed by Kibunya Nisshii.

The yarn used is "Washi Silk."
This yarn combines the smooth texture of Japanese paper (washi) with the gentle feel of silk. It offers excellent breathability and antibacterial properties, and the moisturizing quality unique to silk ensures a finish that is gentle on the skin.

Washi Silk

• Amount used: 50g x 4 skeins (2 strands held together, total 200g)

• Fiber content: 50% Japanese paper / 50% silk

• Ply (thickness): 1/8.5 (fingering)

• Length: 50g = approx. 425m

By twisting Japanese paper and silk together, this yarn is a high-performance material that also has the natural and rustic feel of natural fibers.

BANANA CLOTH

• Amount used: 100g x 2 skeins (2 strands held together, total 200g)

• Fiber content: 70% Cotton / 30% Banana Stem Fiber

• Thickness (ply): Fingering (1/8.5)

• Length: 30g = approx. 255m, 50g = approx. 425m

Combining the softness, lightness, and breathability of cotton, it has a smooth feel perfect for spring and summer.
