This knit hat pattern was designed by Ayano Tanaka and features elastic knitting and cable patterns.

This reversible cable hat is based on elastic knitting. It is designed to have a soft impression, with a relaxed look in places, and is named "Alley's Hat" after the path you walk around the yarn shops at the Yarn Crawl event, and the cable pattern resembles a path. We hope you start your day calmly with the "Alley's Hat".

[About the pattern]

What you need

Materials: Approximately 95g of medium-weight thread

Recommended yarn:

① 1/3 lame cashmere

Cashmere x Lame

Needles: No. 6 or No. 7 4-prong knitting needles or circular needles (40cm, for magic loops we recommend a circular needle of 80cm or more)

Tools: Knitting needles, darning needles, stitch counting rings

For the cast-on, a size 6 crochet hook and separate thread for the cast-on

gauge

2 stitches on the front, 1 on the back, ribbing (6 needles), 31 stitches, 28 rows, 10cm square

Rope knitting pattern (size 7 needles), 32 stitches, 30 rows, 10cm square

Finished size

Head circumference 46cm Depth 24cm

(Measurements are taken with the hat laid flat. Model's head circumference is 55cm)
