The Tuuli Tee is a raglan-sleeved summer knit worked from written instructions. It is a top-down knit that starts at the neckline, requires no seaming, and allows you to adjust the body and sleeve lengths as you knit.

This pattern uses a combination of basic techniques, including the long-tail cast-on and stockinette stitch, making it an accessible first sweater project for beginners.

*Body and sleeve lengths are adjustable to your preference.

● Yarn Used
A: Puf Puf 2 strands, Sayan 2 strands (4 strands held together)
or, B: Puf Puf 2 strands, Tam Tam 1 strand (3 strands held together)

● Yarn Requirements
A: Puf Puf 60 (66) g, Sayan 40 (44) g
B: Puf Puf 60 (66) g, Tam Tam 25 (28) g

● Needles
US 10.5 (6.5mm) circular needle (40 cm), US 10.75 (7mm) circular needle (40 cm, 80–100 cm)
*Needle sizes are a guide. Adjust needle size to achieve gauge.
*If using the magic loop method, only 80–100 cm circular needles can be used for each.

● Gauge
13 stitches × 20 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch (US 10.75 / 7mm needle)

● Tools
8 stitch markers, waste yarn (for holding sleeve stitches), tapestry needle

【About Raglan Sweaters】

A raglan sweater is a sweater with four lines extending from the neckline to the underarm. These are called "raglan lines" and define the boundary between the body and sleeves. In this pattern, you will knit by increasing stitches on both sides of the raglan lines.

【Steps for Top-Down Sweater Knitting】

1. Start knitting from the neckline and knit the yoke by increasing stitches.
2. Divide the yoke into body and sleeves, and place the sleeve stitches on hold.
3. Join the front and back body sections in the round and knit down to the hem.
4. Join the held sleeve stitches and underarm gusset in the round and knit down to the cuff.

The Tuuli Tee is knitted holding together ITORICOT's original yarns "1/11 Puf Puf" and "1/17 Sayan", or "1/11 Puf Puf" and "1/13 Tam Tam". We recommend combining multiple colors to create your preferred color combination.
