About Hitsuji Hitsuji Socks
This is an original top-down sock pattern, designed to preserve the unique expressions and construction characteristic of designer ande Nobu.
These playful socks feature sheep lined up as you walk.
The three-dimensional texture of the sheep's fleece is created using a slipped stitch technique, with the pattern gradually emerging as you switch colors.
The pattern also includes instructions for knitting the heels of both the left and right socks, allowing for a more refined finish.
We collaborated with Mr. Kasagi of KASAGI, who lives with sheep at the foot of Mt. Sanbe in Shimane Prefecture and continues to create products while working with wool, incorporating his feedback on the shape and comfort of the socks.
Enjoy counting "How many sheep are there?" as you knit.
Comment from ande Nobu
I designed these socks wanting to knit socks full of sheep, imagining them munching grass in a meadow. They feature a slipped stitch pattern and a good amount of garter stitch. The texture on the sole is also pleasant and comfortable.

I fell in love with knitting even more after discovering English patterns. I'm thrilled by the world that expands with needles and yarn! My sock pattern workshops have led to wonderful encounters.
